Heat of the future
Extraordinarily thin, 0.5mm thick technology
Extraordinarily thin, only 0.5 mm thick heating system foil technology based on far-infrared radiation.
NAOS has developed foil technology for the new generation heating system. Our secret comprises not only the revolutionary carbon fibre filament but also the coupling system of copper plate with silver element.
In the foil heatflow a carbon fibre filament is used as a heating element, which is a mixture of carbon fabric and carbon paste. Other producers use only carbon paste applied to the foil according to the printing industry method. Thanks to the use of carbon fabric filament, the lifetime of the heating foil is three-fold (more than 30 years) and local surface overheating is excluded. The foil heatflow is technologically patented, with its properties and characteristics in principle surpassing alternative types of heating.
The basic element comprising the quality and safety of the infrared heating foil is the coupling method of the copper plate with silver strip. In the production technology of other infrared foil producers there is no strong contact between the copper plate and the silver powdering, this fact related to operational time can cause the formation of undesired electric arcs. Thanks to the precise method of gluing and special powdered polymer, the heatflow excludes electric arc formation.
